Money

Argentina's currency is the Argentinian Peso. The nationality of the currency has to be specified as Peso is a very popular currency name in South America.
Colombia, Uruguay, Chile and Mexico have named their currencies Peso as well.

There are 6 different notes and 5 different coins.

To spot a fake note all you have to do is look at it against the light and be able to see the figure of a man's face. If the figure appears, the note is not fake.

There are 2, 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100 peso notes. Any other than that, is fake.

Then, there are 1 peso, 50 cent, 25 cent, 10 and 5 cent coins.
To identify fake ones, you scan them with a magnet. If any coins are attracted to it, those are fake.

You have to be rather careful with fake notes, as tourists are easy targets to be given such.

Here's a currency converter for you.
